hanging around in the kitchen
this is another etsy product shoot for shorthairedgirl, but this time its hand towels hanging from the stove. there isn’t a whole lot exciting about rooster towels, so these action shots had to be something interesting to look at. i tried a few different things before i decided that maybe some clean shiny appliances would add some busy to the scene. wet streets worked in all those night shots in the really bad eighties movies we all love, right?
the lighting is all natural sunlight, thanks to a brief period where sol decided to not act like a bitch and hide behind some clouds. my living room is white from floor to ceiling, so it captures every bit of the daylight blasting in through the glass doors. that really worked to my advantage. hopefully i got all the smashed cheerios off the floor.
