skinput uses your skin as an input device

chris harrison has done the amazing. he has created a prototype device that allows you to use your own skin as an input device.

he throws video onto his skin using a tiny projector. he then figures out what part of his skin has been tapped by picking up the vibrations using sensors. all of this processing is done in such a way that delivers a very responsive user interface. check out the video:


resembles some kind of holograpic futury shit we’d see on tv in the 90’s
